Free.Lunch is a dramedy about a hard lucked military vet, Strick, (Cory Hardrict - Battle LA, Gran Torino, American Sniper) who has decided to break into a house to cook himself a meal. Sophie (Alison Haislip - Attack of the Show, The Voice) arrives home from a day at work and finds Strick, a complete stranger has invaded her home. Though unfamiliar, their interaction quickly reveals two people who needed to crash into each other. Free.Lunch is an official selection of the St. Louis International Film Festival, Urbanworld Film Festival, Hollyshorts Film Festival and the Hollywood Black Film Festival. Free.Lunch won Best Short Film at the North Carolina Black Film Festival.
